“It’s a raging storm out there, the winds blowing hard. A thousand ways the winds blow hard. Stay, Soul, just stay on Jesus. Let the winds hurry on, let the worry blow away. In the still, you’ll know His will. Breathe slow — stay anchored in His love, so no storm can sting, no wind can move you:

“You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in You.” ~Isa. 26:3

Stay, Soul, stay on (Abba) God. Feel the weight of His love, the gravity of His goodness, let the closeness of (Abba) God weigh you down in the blasting storm, so you simply stay unmoved. Stay the mind on (Abba) God, and there is no storm in the world that can move you from the peace of (Abba) God.

In the middle of your storm? You aren’t alone. Your good shepherd doesn’t just point the way the way through — He leads the way through. He is with you right now and He is The Way through.

It’s already okay. You aren’t ever alone — lean on the One who leads you through.

“The LORD will always lead you…” Isaiah 58:11

And no matter how you feel like you’re drowning, Christ’s hand is there under your chin.

“He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed.” Ps. 107:29

Trust, Braveheart: Jesus can still the storm inside.

Jesus will either calm the waves — or He will let the waves come and calm His Child.
