Care Team, one member not there for a week, they fell, sprained knee, foot and ankle. Please be praying 🙏❤️ for a speedy recovery ❤️🩹 Max (cat 🐈) and Lucy (dog 🐕) are both well, they just get excited for all of the visitors and to get their treats 😺 The Social Worker came to visit and see how they were doing, and my Step Mum Glenda was honest and said that she does get tired some days, some days she thinks 💭 she cannot do it another day, but then at the same time she cannot give it up, and Dad says that he cannot go back into a care facility, she says as long as he is in his right mind she cannot give up on him, with him telling her that he cannot go back into a care facility, she just cannot do that to him. They have been trying to get help with another UTI for the past couple of weeks. She and a care giver noticed it as he started seeing things and talking crazy 🤪 again, the doctor was coming the following week, but they didn’t do anything. They didn’t look at the urine, they did look at drainage, they didn’t even look at the foley catheter bag to see what was going on, but he got worse again, so she notified his nurse, as he had started bleeding, they finally came out and got a urine specimen, and sent it to the lab and that was on Fursday 🐈 last week. Didn’t hear anything from it all weekend. Didn’t hear anything from the care team. Finally got an email 📧 on Monday asking if she’d heard from the doctor, she said no, and they said well he needs to be on an antibiotic. They passed the information onto the care team. But still haven’t heard anything back. I don’t think 💭 that’s going to go away and get better ❤️🩹 on its own. Lord willing 🙏❤️ he will not get septic from them dragging their feet. I’m liable to say something that I shouldn’t because I’ve tried to tell em and they won’t listen. And they better not fuss at me again either. But he’s asleep 💤 right now, he just seems more tired 😴 today. He’s still not sleeping the best. And his eating has changed, he’s not eating as much. If he eats half of what I give him, that’s doing good. He’s just not eating much at all. Some of that may be feeling bad from a UTI. School is out finally at Happy Valley. I think 💭 they go half a day one day this week. My colonoscopy was good, it didn’t show anything but haemorrhoids and diverticulosis. My liver doc appointment showed that I have progressed to liver fibrosis now. I do not like that. That bothers me. But we’ll just get to wait and see. Everything else is about the same. I have doctor’s appointment so I need to reschedule, and all kinds of stuff I need to do but I guess it’ll get done when it gets done. It is so hard for me to make appointments and be able to keep them like I want to. But I’ll do the best I can. That’s all I can do. that’s all anybody can do sometimes.
